VETERANS

Our veterans deserve the best, without any question.  Much of our programming was designed with our veteran advisors for veterans. So many have suffered for so long and we have a program dedicated to our soldiers who fought for our freedom.  Now we will fight for their freedom from the suffering of trauma and related disorders.

It doesn’t end with treatment as we have relationships with the Heroic Hearts Project™, the Veterans Transition Network™, Retrain Canada™, Wayfinders Wellness Retreat™, and the Veterans Association Food Bank™ to be sure connection and long term resilience are front of mind.

POLICE AND FIRST‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎RESPONDERS

Our police and first responders have dedicated their lives to serving ours. And now we do the same.  These last few years have not been easy to work in one of the most traumatizing careers and access to appropriate treatment should be all our priorities.

Our programming and connections are dedicated to helping people suffering with mental health get well and get back to work.  Long term resiliency and yearly mental health check-ups are part of our world class program.

HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS

During the COVID-19 pandemic over 50% of emergency department workers will experience at least one symptom of PTSD.  Occupational stress injury has never been more prevalent in healthcare workers witnessing first hand unprecedented levels of suffering and death in our society.  The Newly Institute is committed to caring for those who dedicate their lives to caring for others.

We believe that mental health treatment is in drastic need of a paradigm shift, and our practice was founded to provide long-lasting change within this industry, our community, and with our patients.

OUR MISSION

To transform health care through innovation in mental health, addiction and chronic pain care across Canada.

Alternate Brandmark_Olive.png

OUR VISION

The Newly Institute is the leader of innovative mental health, addiction and chronic pain care in Canada, sought after by patients to help them build meaningful and fulfilling lives.

Treating the root causes of mental health and addiction.

By fusing a bio-psycho-social-spiritual treatment model with medical-assisted therapies, patients can overcome deeply embedded traumas, addiction, and pain that prevent them from living fully in their everyday lives. Our programs are based on evidence and data, but our approach is personal because we know it’s vital that people feel safe to be vulnerable during this process.

To us, there is no finish line when it comes to the practice. We are relentless in our pursuit of providing the best treatment for all Canadians struggling with mental health, addiction, trauma, and pain. That means we are consistently analyzing, researching, and improving treatments based on results.  We are firmly rooted in our collective commitment to excellence whether it’s patient care, inter-office communication, or the impact of the color we choose for our wallpaper in the office bathrooms. No detail is too small to be considered, and we believe that it is our duty to be thoughtful and polished in our work.

We believe that together we can create a brighter future for mental health in this country and in time, the world. Together we can change everything.
