We are bringing cutting-edge treatment from the bench to bedside through Canada’s largest network of purpose built medical-assisted psychotherapy clinics.

CURRENT TREATMENT METHODS
Current treatment for most mental health concerns is often medications. More and more Canadians are prescribed antidepressants and less are accessing therapy. Most addiction and chronic pain programming are devoid of mental health and trauma therapies. While many benefit, it often leads to chronic and debilitating outcomes.

INNOVATIVE TREATMENT
This all encompassing program includes national and international experts treating PTSD, depression, anxiety, addiction, and chronic pain.

Our program has been curated by the expertise of our world-class medical professionals. We have carefully developed our curriculum based on the best available medical and complementary evidence to help you maximize benefits.
ACCELERATED RESOLUTION THERAPY
With Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), we say "Keep the knowledge and lose the pain". You will be reset and free from the past traumas which have haunted you. Anxiety, depression and nightmares become an experience of the past. ART is a cutting-edge evidence-based trauma treatment that is accelerated!
This is not talk therapy. Your brain and body become reset using the neuroscience of memory. ART is effective in resolving PTSD, co-morbidities of traumatic brain injuries, complex childhood trauma, psychological stress injuries, depression, anxiety, addiction, and chronic pain.
EMDR THERAPY
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) is an evidence-based treatment that was developed in the late eighties for the purpose of treating trauma and other distressing experiences. This treatment follows strict protocols to process emotions. During the session you will be using your eyes to follow a light bar or the therapist's hand moving back and forth, replicating rapid eye movements (REM) that occur in the REM phase of sleep. The eye movement protocol is followed until eventually the emotional impact of the negative memories being processed have dissipated. This process can rapidly resolve suffering from underlying trauma and assist in treating the resulting mental illness, addiction, and exacerbations of chronic pain.
ACCEPTANCE COMMITMENT THERAPY
Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) is also a type of CBT, and along with DBT, is part of the third wave of CBT therapies. This wave looks more at comprehensive life goals rather than challenging thoughts and eliminating symptoms. ACT is a mindful approach to accepting the difficulties in life we all face in order to improve one’s future. One of the cores of ACT is living a values-based life. This means identifying, and allowing your values to guide behaviours and direction. ACT has also been shown to help those living with severe mental health disorders including PTSD, depression, anxiety, addiction, and chronic pain.
DIALECTICAL BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) is a type of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) designed to help develop healthy coping mechanisms, improved regulation of emotions and improved communication and relationships. These skills are key to confront difficult situations and building longterm resiliency. DBT has been shown to help those living with severe mental health disorders including PTSD, depression, anxiety, addiction, and chronic pain. DBT has also been shown to resolve Acute Stress Disorder and prevent the onset of PTSD.
SLEEP EDUCATION TRAINING
Sleep Education Training is a first-line treatment for individuals struggling to fall asleep and/or maintain sleep. Sleep Education focuses on cognitive interventions, behavioural interventions, and education to restructure one’s sleep algorithm. It has been shown to be highly effective and is recommended as a first line approach for treating sleep difficulties in PTSD, anxiety and depression, and in some studies even more effective than medications.
MINDFULNESS TRAINING AND RESILIENCY
Mindfulness is one of the core aspects of our curriculum and imbedded throughout all of our programming. On top of that we have developed a separate mindfulness course to learn more about the breath, living in the moment, and developing a mindfulness practice. Mindfulness Training and Resiliency Program (MTRP) based treatments are effective in reducing symptoms of PTSD, depression, and anxiety. The goal is to be able to respond to a situation rather than react with awareness. Overall mindfulness helps enhance long term resiliency and supports further growth and practice in self-care.
TRAUMA-SENSITIVE YOGA
Movement is medicine and is a pivotal part of mental health recovery. Trauma sensitive yoga has been shown to improve sleep, concentration, negative thinking, and regulating emotions. The approach allows a safe and supportive space to enhance emotion regulation with use of the breath and body. The focus on the mind-body system is important to help calm the nervous system while moving towards recovery and building resiliency.
TRAUMA-INFORMED DRUMMING
Repetitive rhythmic patterns and music-making promotes the development of new neural-pathways in the brain. Group drumming becomes an active-meditation whereby participants learn how to focus on the present moment (ie: mindfulness) while promoting a sense of community and spirituality. Rhythm is everywhere. Our trauma-informed drumming program weaves in wellness education, self-awareness and social skill development helpful in regulating the rhythms of life. No experience is required. Our innovative rhythmic program includes the following 3 evidence-based approaches to drumming: Gentle Drumming, Heart Synchronization, and Integration Drumming.
RELAPSE PREVENTION ADDICTION TREATMENT
Substances of abuse (alcohol, cocaine, opioids) are commonly used by those with trauma and untreated mental illness as a way of self-treatment to avoid the difficulties of intrusive thoughts and unwanted memories. Avoiding the pain is a natural human condition, but for us to face our traumas we must learn to do so without avoidance. Relapse Prevention and Addiction Treatment (RPAT) helps individuals learn about addiction and how resolving mental illness like depression, anxiety, and trauma can help break the cycle of suffering, and avoidance that perpetuates the addictive behaviours.
RPAT will include phase 1 and 2 of addiction treatment.
CHRONIC PAIN WELLNESS PROGRAM
Chronic Pain Self-Management is about taking control of your pain and helping increase self-efficacy. Research shows those who complete a self-management course increase healthy behaviours including strengthening and stretching exercises, progressive muscle relaxation, and visualization. More importantly, people living with pain report greater self-efficacy to manage their pain and mental health, important for building and maintaining resiliency.

KETAMINE TREATMENTS
For chronic treatment resistant mental health and substance use disorders, ketamine has shown to boost treatment and recovery. These treatments may be indicated for those who are suffering with comorbid mental health disorders. Ketamine is often used to help those who suffer with chronic pain and may be indicated for use as a common treatment for chronic pain condition.
